I wish to make some clarifications in response to an unusual PM discussion I have had regarding this eNom reseller account.

eNom offers 2 account types: Reseller and Retail.

Reseller: You need to refill the account before you can register any domains. For example, when you top up $100 with your credit card, you will have $97 worth of credits for future domain registrations (3% credit card fee by eNom).

Retail: You DO NOT need to refill your account; all registrations are pay as you go, which means you pay for one domain at a time.

Hope this clarifies my previous statement: "...you do need to fill up your account before beginning use." This latter statement, IMHO, is neither false nor misleading. When you get this reseller account, it has zero credits, which is why you need to top up before beginning use.

Note that this account is NOT those shady ones where you pay $8.95 per domain and receive a rebate/refund of $1 later.

I missed one little word in the Dr's post and became totally confused. I apologize for taking up his time with what must have seemed to him to be idiotic PM's.
