I am using this service to monitor ONE name. For the last few weeks, I get a message about twice a day saying that practically every field has changed. Yet a quick inspection doesn't reveal any changes.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is it possible that some register is automating changes and unchanges to screw with services like this?

We have used Snapnames before. You will get a few emails that show that the information has changed but you won't see an update everytime. The registrar will be making internal changes to get ready to delete the domain. Depending on who the old company that is holding the domain that could take 2 days it could take 2 weeks.

We have had one on hold for 6 months. It has been expired for 8 months and netsol won't let it go. I have called but nothing. They told me that they sometimes hold domais up to 2 years after they expire. Of course an argument started but in the end they still one :)

I would say send an email to Snapnames but I have never had them return an email that I have even sent.

Good luck and hang in there.

I am looking at a domain that expired 2 years ago. NetSol still won't release it. I called them and they said that technically domains can be registered for 10 years, so......could be that long until they release it.

I have always gotten an answer from snapnames, although their ability to acquire an expired name sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, they have always been prompt in replying to emails.
