View Full Version : easy multiple domain whois lookup
whtpost 04-21-2002, 10:53 AM Anyone know if there is a site that allows you to enter multiple domain names and then with a click of a button displays whois information for one or more of the domains?
Register.com used to be kind of easy to use for the above purpose, but with its recent format changes, it ain't so easy anymore.
Thanks
Netsol.com (10)
http://www.domainfellow.com/multiQuery.asp the best I've got I guess...
lol, just realized i replied to some request from 2002, but i guess it'll be helpful to some....
frattay22 06-02-2004, 05:53 PM ceo, that is pretty funny. Maybe the link is helpful to others.
eSology 06-02-2004, 06:18 PM www.freewho.com and go to status tab. You can place 50 names at a time.
frattay22,
Yes, it is : )
Actually I myself am currently looking for doing a whois lookup (basically domain availability, not owner info) on some 5000 names....
Anyone, any suggestions?
GUIguy 06-10-2004, 01:12 AM Yes...I have one, and it's the only thing I use from NetSol.
I just found out that I am not allowed to insert a URL because I have not made enough posts on this forum, so I'll try to insert it in pieces...
networksolutions.com/
en_US/name-it/multiple.jhtml
Thanks GUIguy,
That one has just 10 domains.....
Anything more?

That's the best I've seen yet. However, if someone else knows of something else with more, I'd love to hear from them as well. Just going to Netsol makes me cringe...
acts837's message above has a real cool one.
Thanks acts837, I've started to use it a few times !
honestman 06-10-2004, 03:31 PM ceo if you are looking for availability only then you may use
1- https://registrar.godaddy.com/bulkregister.asp? ( it was up to 500 now it's only 50 :( )
2- http://www.registerfly.com/multi/index.php ( it is now up to 300 domains but after this thread I think they will make it 30  )
3- I used to use this program "Domain Name Analyzer" was very fine for availability and WhoIs too ( searching 1000s of domains ) but recently registrars like NS will block your IP after about 50 domains
Wow, honestman, thanks for that link !
Hope to use it soon.....
honestman 06-10-2004, 06:00 PM You are welcome , I just noticed that the goddady sitll support up to 500 domains but they have added Access Code
Jeanco 06-10-2004, 10:11 PM www.startname.com has a nice bulk lookup too.
Jeanco,
Thanks, that site is massive.
