Does anyone else have trouble getting name server changes made at BulkRegister. I have a customer that was with linuxwebhost.com and has been trying for over two weeks to get his name servers changed over. His old host will not answer emails and BulkRegister says that only the company that sold him the domain can make the changes. I've called BulkRegister twice trying to help him out, and they tell me the same thing.

Is there another way to get the name servers changed without having to move the domain to another registar? Anyone know a good contact name at BulkRegister I could call and ask for by name?

I think your best bet is to move the domain. If BulkRegister isn't willing to help out someone who is having problems with a reseller of theirs, it seems like a bad sign.

Good news, I finally got them to change the name servers. It only took 9 phone calls and 11 emails. Why can't everyone be as easy as OpenSRS?

One final question. Can they actually do this? I know that they are, but the BulkRegister reseller doesn't own the domain name, the person that paid for it does. I think I'll email ICANN and find out more about this policy.
