we had the "recent" version of kayako and our license apparently expired, then we get the "upgarde" and it is not to my liking!

anyone else share that thought with me?

the older one was very uncluttered and simple to use but this new one is horrible!

watch for my rant on ALP (accounts lab plus)

I'll tell ya' Lauren, after my experiences w/ Kayako, you couldn't pay me to run it on my own sites/businesses. Display bugs, lost tickets (which is a great way to make a customer happy), lost PMs which would then magically reappear :rolleyes:, calendar events that never evented, search sometimes didn't find what was being looked for (but the sought-after ticket clearly matched the parameter)..... this was being run by high-level admins who yes, did have a clue. Database was just fine. Server was running w/out any problems. Bottom line, Kayako is just classy stuff, in my experience... :laugh:

As for Account Lab, I'm not surprised, it's still very early/young software. Early enough that I would play with it for fun, but I would not use it for production-level stuff. But that's just my general feelings, I haven't even taken the time to install it, because it is so young and I haven't had time for playing around -- too many irons on the fire! :D Anyway regardless, I look forward to your post, because I am curious where things stand with it.
