What ever you do, don't use RegisterFly.com, their customer support is the worst I have ever received from any type of company in my life!! It literally takes weeks before they reply to support questions.

I now use GoDaddy for everything, they are a little cheaper anyways. Their customer support is fantastic, whenever you send in a trouble ticket, they always respond at least within 6 hours (their guidelines), but most of the time it has been just an hour or so.

I will admit, RegisterFly has a great looking web site and a very efficient domain manager, but if you ever need help or support, your screwed, plus they lock your domains and you can't ever transfer them until they unlock them, and considering you can't ever get ahold of them.......

Oh, that reminds me, GoDaddy is directly ICANN accreditied, where RF is just a reseller of Enom. Plus GoDaddy actually has phone numbers you can reach them at.

humm are they toll free numbers:stickout

:) No, they are not toll free, but at least you can get ahold of them in dire emergencies, which is a lot more than you can say for most of the domain registars. I would rather them have a non-toll free number, then have a 800 number and have to raise their domain prices.

Anyhow, I am just trying to help you out a little, just telling you my experiences with them. You certainly don't have to rely on what I have told ya.

lol, i always thought godaddy was a ... unique name for a domain registrar... but whatever works ;)

how is godaddy's support response time?

has their service degraded over the past year or so?

trying to decide if i should put all my domains into stargate (have like 4 domains with them and bought like 6 more for others) or try a newer service

thanks ;)

Use stargate.com. 2 or more domains for $8.85.

Nobody here talks about them much, but I've had good luck with gkg.net (http://gkg.net). They are a direct ICANN registrar. And, yes, they do have an 800 number.
