Or am I missing something? Yes, you are forgetting to be thankful that your first malfunction with Yahoo was in the attempt to transfer to them. Webgypsy 11-10-2005, 03:33 PM I think it is strange. I can start a new domain, but no transfer? dmaven 11-10-2005, 04:35 PM They are looking to get new hosting clients not attract people looking to spend next to nothing on domain names Bashar 11-10-2005, 11:28 PM you cant transfer domains to yahoo, only register new domains with em even if you had purchased hosting cedced 11-11-2005, 01:02 AM Does Yahoo! Small Business offer registrar transfer? This is not a registrar transfer. Using your domain name at Yahoo! Small Business means directing your domain name servers to Yahoo! Small Business's servers, not transferring your domain registration to us. Your domain name registration remains with your current registrar and you are responsible for all ongoing domain name registration/renewal fees. Back to top. Your domain will be gone. nadezhdazz 11-11-2005, 11:26 AM Yes, you are forgetting to be thankful that your first malfunction with Yahoo was in the attempt to transfer to them. Disgruntled! That's such a funny post, I enjoyed it very much. I had my domain registered and hosted with yahoo. I transferred to another registrar, in panic, over the complete lack of help from yahoo regarding basic but important problems. The transfer away from yahoo went smoothly, much to my relief. I've kept them as hosts because they have always been fairly good, indeed, I'd use them again if I ever started up another site. But I would never again register a domain name with them, much less transfer a domain to them! |
