Has anybody ever used RRDTool? I installed it today, along with HotSaNIC - and I prefer it over MRTG..it's really good.

If any of you are curious to see what it looks like..you can take a look at my RedHat based router for my home network at http://matt.techboost.com/stats/ eth0 is external, actual web traffic and eth1 is internal traffic, which is used for music streaming, video, file sharing across computers etc :).

</ end brag >

And if any of you need help setting it up..send me a pm :)

Not bad...
But I was rather impressed with this graphing tool from canhost:
http://www.can-host.com/php/tfx.html

I've modified it to remove memory usage, but kept the cpu usage....

ITYM "I installed HotSaNIC, along with rrdtool, and prefer HotSaNIC over MRTG." MRTG is very happy to work with rrdtool.

Yes, I know MRTG can work with RRDTool..but I honestly don't see the point if your only need is to graph a single server. RRDTool is really easy to install, and while MRTG is..MRTG is much harder to configure for single-server use.

Oh! now vB needs graphing as well :D

Every web-based application should come with a nice graphical stats tool :)
