It looks like they stole vortech's design also. With that picture "High-Power Web Hosting Solution". And the general design shows striking similarities.

They, can be in trouble for using that MySQL logo, you are only allowed to use the powered by logos...

ok, I am playing with layouts and getting some ideas and see where they go. This site will be changing at lease one a week if not twice a week. Reason for so many changes, I am having trouble finding the right layout and design before we go to pubic. Just testing, a lot of people are getting the wrong idea from what I notice. I sure you that we not going to keep this layout. Will be make our own. sorry for the mix up !

There's no wrong idea at all Ivan23. You're a thief and a liar. People such as yourself who chronically fail to understand they're doing something wrong by stealing the works of others make my skin crawl. It almost makes me wish we lived in a society where you'd have your hand cut off to teach you a lesson.

I *think* the misunderstanding is this: He didn't intend to publish that page.

There is nothing wrong with downloading someone else's page and making changes on your machine for the purpose of learning how html works. I expect almost everyone got started with html that way. By making changes from someone else's code, you can learn which tags do what, which tags you'll want to use, et cetera. As long as you go back and rewrite everything from scratch after you've finished learning, you're not violating any copyright -- you have the right to make changes to copyrighted material in private, as long as you don't redistribute the modified work.

What Ivan failed to understand is that by making his hacked up learning experience publicly available he was tacitly redistributing it and thereby breaking the law.

Does that make sense?

I dont mind it if he grabbed the code, I mean if he asked I would have sent it to him for his learning puposes. I would have constructed some imagery for him to play with.

I am willing to assist anybody who askes. I'm not PO'ed that it was done. I think what happened is that when he posted he opened himself up to attack.

Some people are willing to attack faster than others. Ivan, if you want or need assistance just let me know and I would be more than willing to assit you.

Keep pluging away and dont worry to what others say. I think I am pretty well known on this board for my designs. I dont mind if you want to copy one of the to learn. It's only if you say that you did it or start to profit from it is where I would have questions.

Please remove any and all images, HTML you have taken from Vortechhosting.com and Vortech Inc. I will only ask nice only one time.

Tranz designed most of the images and the idea for the layout. We have paid for all work done to Vortech Inc and own rights to all content.

Tranz:: it one thing for him to copy our code but he copied our stuff word for word and the images as well some you did not even make... You only did about 8 or 10 images and the drop downs to the left every thing else we did here. So we like to keep our code and images to our self as we paid good $$$ for them am sure you under stand.. :)

So back to Ivan23 we also own made up all keywords you are now using and as shown in the first post you have also copied this. I will also only give 24 hours for this to be removed.

Also as tranz said " It's only if you say that you did it or start to profit from it is where I would have questions " we have no way of knowing if you have or not made a profit from adding our images and our slogan to your site.

Ivan23 I will also be calling you my self tomorrow if this is not removed ASAP.

As tranz also said I am not "PO'ed" as long as every thing you have copied has been removed with in 24 hours after that... HMMMM I can't say much.. :angry: :angry:

Even in his new "design", he still uses exactly the same keywords and those 3D images... I think you owe Vortech and Tranz a BIG apology. I am sure they will forgive you if you admit your guilt and take the content down immediately.

One more thing, skilled designers do not need to copy. The codes appear in their heads once they see the layout. It's good to learn a particular skill by seeing others' code (I'm sure many of us started out like this) AND come up with your own styles, but ripping like this is just plain wrong.

I tried to be anice guy about the whole thing and give someone the benefit of the doubt. I even tried to assit him if he wanted it. Man how far do I have to go.

Ivan, Vortech and myself have been nice about the whole thing. We are both in the same city and know eachother personaly, so getting together and formunlationg a plan isnt hard. This doesnt have to get this ugly. It's up to you. We BOTh, Vortech and myself have attornies that love stuff like this.

Once again I am willing to offer my assistance to you if you take down what is not your and ask for it.

I will not offer this again. Vortech and Myself are well known on this board and will have no problems finding out whatever is needed. Dont make us do it.

You don't have to go anywhere. I agree it's nice to be nice, but after a while you get a bit jaded of the reasoning and excuses for this sort of thing, and become an old sour-puss like me.

Helping people out is a good thing to do, and I'm all for it, if they ask (and have the time), but this kind of thing is like walking over to someone, sticking you hand in their pants and taken out their wallet, nabbing a few 20's and wandering off.

Slap him for it, you'll feel better.. maybe a nice little rabbit punch too. :)

I looks like you have removed a few of the images but there is still alot of images and including the slogen of ours on your site.

When I called you today I told you 24 hours. You have about 12 left..

damnit people like this piss me off to no end...luckily ive yet to had any images stolen...only borrowed and i gave permission.

tranz- yer a better man than most to have patience for this sorta thing!

i emailed subblue just now about stealing that gorgeous image on his main page.

ivan- if you are still visiting these forums and you see this...id suggest you either find another job, or take some sort of art classes/graphics design...because you obviously have no creativity.
