Hello there,

I am looking for Fraud Order Verification via Telephone. I don't know alot about fraud order via phone.

What I want is..
Pay per call (no charge for declined calls)
No monthly fee
Not sure about enter verify numbers - you pick the phone and enter the numbers but you don't know about order.
Robot machine - "Did you order ___?" If possible.

Something like varilogix.com

Or any recommend fraud sites from my requirement?

Thanks.

How does fraud order telephone work? Do you call your customer or Varilogix voice machine? What do they ask question in phone? Does customer call you in your office?

Why not simply pick up the phone and call new customers to see if they are legit?

That wasn't meant to be funny or a slam on the OP. It was meant as serious advice.

You may also want to look at Cybersource (http://www.cybersource.com). They offer some fraud protection screening tools including a fraud score to help you measure the amount of risk for each order.

Personally for oversees orders, I have still had people offer a valid telephone number and verbally confirm the order which ended up being fraud.

Wow, that sucks!

We use FraudGuardian, which is great IMO. We don't use phone verification. Here is what we do instead. If an order comes in that looks suspect, we send out the following email:

Thank you for your order.

In order to fill your order we will need to verify you are the actual owner of the credit card used to place the order. Please FAX (1-888-850-4819) or email a scanned Government issued ID that verifies your identity. Once we receive that, we will get your order processed immediately.

--signature here--

About 10% of the people who get this actually send the ID. About 15% claim they don't have an ID to send (?) or that they don't have access to a scanner, digital camera or fax machine. The remaining 75% don't reply.

I've found this simple system to work very well over the years. :-)

HTH!
