Hi,

I’m looking for Ruby on Rails & JSP/Tomcat Resellers. I loved Gazzin reseller plans, but keep hearing stories about there downtimes. Anyone else satisfied with any resellers that support Ruby on Rails & JSP/Tomcat reseller hosting with .NET option will be a plus. I’m looking into Jodohost, but currently they are not provide JSP or RoR. Hope they add this soon.

Thanks
Pakoda

Hi Pakoda,

It looks like your looking for a reseller with ruby on rails / tomcat / .net. The .NET extension is required on windows server. Therefore we dont have the combination you are looking for.

To comment on the recent post. Your looking at 15% out of all our whole range of cluster. Although 15% dissatisfaction is something we hate to see therefore we are working on a resolution to have at least of only a 2-5% disstatisfaction.

Therefore, what I am saying is only 15% of our operations of servers have been mentioned publicly with issues.

Hi Clanosiris,

Thanks for your quick feedback.
I’m not heavily looking for Microsoft .NET, but I’m in a need of 'Ruby on Rails & JSP/Tomcat Reseller. Hope to hear good reviews from others on your server status.

Thanks
Pakoda

I believe Site5.com and Dreamhost.com are too popular ones that offer Ruby on Rails, Site5 has reseller plans but not sure how they have it setup as ruby on rails is a bit iffy when using it with cpanel/whm. Last I heard they were trying out scgi which is a much better way to run it but ruby/rails is still not on main stream hosts with any reliability yet.

I do not think Site5 offers JSP. HostGator offers JSP, but I do not think they offer RoR. It's a tough situation.

Might be a good idea to contact Site5 or HostGator and see if they will install the module which they are missing.

Best bet might be to get a dedicated and load it with the stuff you want :), installing Rails on a cpanel/whm box isn't too bad.
