How do I do this. LS 3.0 is giving me the following information:
digitalgrey.nl
**.**.***.*** This site is currently in an inconsistent state.
This may be the result of an active or failed edit.

This happened because the domain was originalle digital-grey.com and I changed it to digitalgrey.nl.

Now when I try to delete this site I'm getting:

frontpage - Disable service
(WARNING):Could not disable Frontpage
sendmail - Disable service
(WARNING):Failed to remove A record, mail.digitalgrey.nl IN A 66.28.242.106 : This name server is not authoritative for the given zone

(WARNING):Failed to remove MX record, digitalgrey.nl IN MX 10 mail.digitalgrey.nl : This name server is not authoritative for the given zone

proftpd - Disable service
(WARNING):Failed to remove A record, ftp.digitalgrey.nl IN A 66.28.242.106 : This name server is not authoritative for the given zone

apache - Disable service
(WARNING):Failed to remove A record, www.digitalgrey.nl IN A 66.28.242.106 : This name server is not authoritative for the given zone

bind - Disable service
(WARNING):Please use the Bind DNS Manager to edit/delete the zone for this domain.
siteinfo - Disable service
( ERROR ):The map for digitalgrey.nl already exists in /etc/virtualhosting/mappings/domainmap

The only error seems to be the domainmap thing. I've tried connecting to the server with telnet and editing the domainmap, but I still get the same error. I really need some help here, or I might end up restoring the system and disappointing the people I'm hosting on the server, not that they're paying me or anything, but still...

I have posted this on the Ensim support forum, but seeing as it's weekend, their tecs probably won't be around till Monday and I'd like to sort this out asap.

Thanks.

Have you tried restarting the webppliance service?
I've done this before and it cleared out the problem site, or at least made it where I could delete it "the rest of the way"..

I did try restarting it and it still came up with the same errors. I'll try it again, though I don't think that will solve it. Thanks for the input anyway...

From what I have seen, sites that are in an inconsistent state are caused from configuration errors on the given site.

If you check /var/log/appliance/ensim_appliance.log you can usualy determine what is making the site go ape **** (e.g: frontpage craped out while trying to be installed for the given domain). Then disable the feature(s) in question causing the inconsistent site (usualy from improper configuration saves) and resave it.

Good suggestion from rfxn.. If you need to, can you post the log mentioned to see what errors are listed? You can also look at /var/log/httpd/error_log

Can't see anything in the httpd error log, but here's the Ensim error log. I'll have a look at it myself later, but I have some other stuff to do fist and seeing as the site in question belongs to me and a friend, there's no real rush to get it fixed.

Thanks for all the replies :)
