mouse do you use in programs like PSP or PS. My reasoning behind it is, I'm getting sick and tired of my standard Microsoft mouse and was interested in buy a new one. If I'm going to spend 20 or 30 bucks, I might as well get one that is going to last and precise in programs like PSP, Dreamweaver, etc....

i was looking into the logitech trackball / standard mouse combination, but wondered how good it worked. i saw some interesting comments about the way the trackball funtioned.

this question probably sounds rediculous, but i'd apprecate your input ;)

how about a neat wireless mouse? You are gonna spend a bit more though.

For things like Photoshop, it's not the design, but rather the accuracy. Find what type of pointer suits you best (most comfortable), then go for the highest quality you can afford. I use a mouse, but I always make sure it's optical for example.

You could look at graphic tablets too. They take a while to get used to, but they are very good. I was using mine as a mouse for months a while back (even online). http://www.wacom.com is where you want to go for tablets.

Quality of accuracy will make all the difference when you're erasing single pixels from an image zoomed up to 1600X believe me :)

Provantage has the graphics tablet for 78 bucks so I will definitely have to ponder on this...

Provantage has that for 40 bucks....

I might end up going with the graphics tablet, only because I'd hate to buy the dual optical now only to turn around later and purchase the wacom graphics tablet down the line. if i go w/ wacom, it'll be two weeks of ramen noodles, but i guess every college student goes through that :)
