Hello - I do gameservers, and I can tell you right now some advice. If you don't have enough money to invest in them, don't even think about it. If you plan on making profit right away, don't even think about it.
You will need a large budget if you are going to do game servers, even if you just start with 1 location.

You said your budget is small and you have little idea on how to go about it. A game server hosting company is the same as any other company - it requires knowledge, experience and startup capital. I've been in the game server industry for several years, and seen many companies fail.
The industry is tough, so don't expect to see a profit for several months at the minimum. There's no guarantee you'll even break even.
If you still want to go about it, spend a good amount of time researching the industry, writing a business plan, securing capital, and planning the business.

Business is business. Whether your selling lemonade or hosting it really makes no difference, You need to learn how to operate a business before anything else. Too many people get into hosting because they think setting up an account on cpanel or knowing how to setup a CS server is going to get them far.. I have news for you, The only thing that does is gets you killed quick. Learn how to run a business first then worry about everything else.
