I could use hosting for several purposes. I am starting a small website for use for communication between about 100 high-school students that are part of a Theology and Leadership program at St.John's University in Minnesota. I have the bulk of the site designed, but need a place to host it. We don't have cash to spend, so we were going to host it on my DSL line (128k upload speed... s l o w), but if you are offering, that would be cool!

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of creating a web development business, just as a start-up business and to see if I can generate any clients for my future career.

Unfortunately, I have barely any money to pay for annual hosting, since I have no offline job, and my parents will not support me since I am 14 yrs. old-- And they say I should be responsible for myself.

Of course, the web development business would not take up much bandwidth/space, so hopefully I can occupy a little space on your server?

Much thanks and good day!

Kind Regards,
Jeff :)

I am 14 too and also jobless. I am attempting to make a Xbox fansite and trying to compete with major competition. I am currently testing my site @ http://www.xboxgnome.com. It's not too great yet, but I just got PSP7 and my domain two days ago. I'd need around 5-10 GB bandwidth, 75-125 MB storage, 2 mySQL databases, and PHP access. I'd greatly appreciate this.

Please contact me via bluefire712@hotmail.com or AIM: slurp127 (rarely go on that).

Keep your requests coming in !
I already sponsor a number of sites including a student radio station and an online resume.

I will be posting a poll next week to let the people decide. At the moment it looks like the front runners are
zRedDice high school students
progex startup
Orc tiny personal site
jake712 xboxgnome review site - in school
dmitler PDAs - still in school
diandi non-profit forum, traditional parenting

Yes, I am currently with pixelblock.com as a winner of a contest earlier this month. My free hosting will run out and also it doesn't give me the bandwidth/space I'll need for the site when I launch it (current date: 1 June 2002).

That's why I am looking for other solutions. I did the contest mainly to get my test site up and running. I was planning on going to a paid provider right before the launch, but then I saw you're message. Please reconsider me :).

It looks to me as if this is pretty much decided, but just in case...I run a site all about PDAs, which are handheld computers (Personal Digital Assistants). For the past few months, I've had it hosted with a host who turned out to be one of the worst, charging a lot for practically no features (Homestead.com). Recently, they have almost doubled the prices, and are now offering even less features! I'm looking for a good place to put this site, and this is a great offer! Of course, if I'm chosen, I would have an area about what a great host you guys are :D . I would need about 10gb of bandwidth to start, and a couple hundred megabytes of storage space, as well as Perl/CGI support, and a few other add-ons if possible. I would greatly appreciate it, and, since I'm still in school, it would be a big help for something to do on those boring days. Lastly, it would be a helpful source of income for my family, and myself.

I'm preparing to lauch a website for east-asian parents discussing how to educate and raise their children.
It will be a non-profitable forum.

I currently have 3 non-profit organizations (2 community organizations and 1 church) that would like hosting but have little or no money to fund that. I am willing to design and maintain their sites if a kind sole such as you can donate the hosting space.

Please let me know.

Thanks.
