Why do folks get so upset when they can't access a site? I mean it's not like there's nothing that can go wrong from the server to your ISP then onto your PC. :eek:

It's not like servers/hardware/software never break down or need maintaining. :eek:

It's not like there's thousands of individual componants involved to get the code from the server to your PC. :eek:

And it's not like there are nice people out there that think it's fun to flood networks with a DDOS attack. :eek:

Pardon me, what is a DDOS attack? How can DOS attack a server?

A DDoS attack can flood a network with so much traffic that it takes a long time for your request to reach the server, and a long time for the data to be sent back. You will often get timed out errors during DDoS attacks.

Now it come back again! Maybe there was a stall on the traffic between my ISP and the site.

DOS mean Denial Of Service.

I am not sure if you are existing client or potential client. All our servers are up. We havnt had any report of connectivity issue today. But, if you were having problem accessing our site, probably just temporary connectivity issues. Our upstream provider seems to get flooded a lot in the last couple of days. About half of our servers located in that data centre are affected. But at this very moment, we are not aware of any connectivity related issue.

Just checked my monitoring logs.

Ecommercediscoverry has not had down time on that time. It should be a problem on your ISP (DNS etc.)
