You can post there when you have been a member for a week. Take time to get to know us all in the meantime :)

I'd say I've been a member for longer than a week... and I have a hair over 10 posts (last I checked), however I can see the ad forums.. until I log in, then they disappear. Is this normal?

No, it isn't. Did you happen to block them just after we upgraded?

I think the last time I changed a setting here was back in 2000. No blocking, etc.

whatever

Can I just ask about the advertising forums... how often can you post an offer? Is it once per week?

Thanks.

Yes, like it says in the rules, once every 7 days.

A little reading (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php) gets (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php) you (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php) a (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php) long (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php) way. (http://webhostingtalk.com/rules.php)

Am I the only one that this happens to?

Now you know Chicken, you belong to a special "group". Hmm ... I shouldn't be standing too close to you anyway. :D Oh, I can see the ad forums with no problem, logged in or out.

I read the rules posted here. It makes sense to add that policy:

You are the first to have mentioned it. What browser do you use?

Did you hide the forum before that option was removed?

Am I the only one that this happens to?You are the only one that has mentioned anything.

So, I've added the option for you to hide/not hide forums.

After you log in, see if you have the option to expand the advertising forums on forum index. Then un-hide them. :)

Let us know if it worked (or didn't).

Thanks, but there's no category bar, thus nothing to click to hide or unhide something. Feel free to change my password, login and check it out, and then email me the changed password. Then you too... will see (figuratively that is) what I... don't see. Eh what? You know what I mean.

IE (boooo hisss boo hisssss).

I can't see the ad forums either, but that's by choice. :)

Just after they upgraded to VB 3.5, there was an option to minimise some forum catagories, so I minimised the ad forums (w00t!) and then INET took away that option, but my settings remained.

That might be what's happening to you Chicken.

. . .

That might be what's happening to you Chicken. That ain't it.

I made sure we had him as Premium. Then I took him up on his offer and logged in, thinking maybe it was a cookie issue with him. And, I saw the same thing the image he attached showed.

There is no option to expand the ad forums.

/me passes to The Prohacker
