I want to outsource my technical support to a professional and these are the only 2 companies (Bobcares.com and Addsupport.com) that I have heard of.

1. Does anyone use either one of these or have an opinion on which is better?

2. Does anyone know of another company that compares to these 2?

Thanks.

Jeff

Addsupport hasn't even started providing services... they will go live on April 22... at least that's what it says on their website... hence, I don't think anybody has used them yet.

I'd recomment bobcares.com

They guys at AddSupport are very quick in responding to pre-sales question e-mails I can only hope that this type of response will carry over to their support.

They also have some nice affordable plans that scale to meet your needs as your company grows.

Their pricing seems right on, but how are they? Plan 3 or 4 looks very enticing from this end. But how far do those techs go?

Do they login and actually make changes in Plesk as an admin? Or perhaps help debug perl scripts?

From Rapidsupport.com's website:
Step 1
Customer emails support@yourdomain.com, the helpdesk catches this email and opens a support ticket returning the tracking number back to your customer.

Step 2
The helpdesk notifies the engineer that there is a helpdesk request and it's for your company

Step 3
The engineer identifies the problem and a)emails the customer from the helpdesk to give a resolve time estimate or 2) resolve the situation and notifies the customer

Step 4
The engineer resolves the problem and emails the customer from the helpdesk, the email the customer receives is from support@yourcompany.com

The customer at anytime can close/reply/add to a ticket and the engineer will see this in the helpdesk staff admin section

Side Note: BobCares will do custom script support for $10 an hour, which to me, is great.

I am pretty sure they will do that. I was talking with Peter about it and he said as long as you give them access to the server(s) then they will. I am going to be testing them this week-I hope-I will let you know what happens.

I hope for the best : )

Wish I could say the same. Their plans/pricing looks decent, but no response to the 3 Emails I sent them doesn't make me want to jump to sign up. If they're too busy to answer sales Emails now, just imagine when they get a few customers how fast their support will be...
