I added a virtual directory under the default ftp site. The alias is file01 and link to E:\

But after I ftp to the site, I can't see the directory of "file01". Actually, what's virtual directory use for? Am I not able to see the virtual directory through ftp?

OK, i got the solution.

I just type host.com/virtualdirectoryalais in the ftp address in order to access it.
