Ok guys, well the wait has been great for some of you that pre-ordered, but it's here now, and ready to sell. We currently have 5 systems remaining which were not pre-sold, and we do not pump out a mass amount of quantity, so if you don't get in on this batch, it may be a while before you get a server. The specs are as follows:
AMD XP1700+ on an ASUS motherboard
512mb of Low Density RAM (upgradable to 3GB)
40 gig hdd (western digital)
10/100 NIC (3com
8 ip addresses (can be full 8, or put in a private vlan, you pick)
300gb of transfer
99.5% uptime guarantee
APC access *included*
$150/mo + $150 setup
or $450/3 mo (free setup)
Also:
<edit>Cabinet space can be provided for the same pricing</edit>
Full rack (42u)
UPS coverage
10mbps of bandwidth, and 128 ip's (if justified)
20amps of power
99.5% uptime guarantee, and technical support at our listed price of $40/hr.
$900/mo + Free Setup
3 month minimum contract. (for a full rack would you expect any less?)
Half Rack (20u)
UPS coverage
5mbps of bandwidth, 64 ip's (if justified)
10 amps of power
99.5% uptimme guarantee
$500/mo + Free Setup
Cpanel is available for $65/mo, if you'd like webmin/web.cp (new version of both are just out, and quite reasonable software) we can install it free of charge.
Currently these are unmanaged solutions, if you like the specs and want it managed, that can be provided for an additional $100/mo.
We offer Redhat 7.2, FreeBSD 4.5 or slackware 8, but recommend FreeBSD 4.5 quite strongly, and will provide the extra bit of technical support (if you're moving to FreeBSD) free of charge.
Technical support is $40/hr for extended support, and that can be anything you want, from installing applications, to troubleshooting your configurations, you name it, we'll do it.
You can ping/traceroute 66.250.24.1 for speed tests, we're on an empty cogent node (if you want more information, let me know, i'll have pics of this soon), and you can download from http://www.prioritycolocation.com/test.zip to get a speed estimate.
I would like to think that we're one of the most accomodating companies around for the price, and we can even accomodate trials if you've been hurt in the past by other providers with similar claims. These can be setup and configured within a day, and you will recieve free technical support (within reason) for your setup period to help you roll over any bumps you experience.
As expected, these are subject to our terms and condtions, found at http://www.prioritycolocation.com/tos.shtml and to sum it up, no IRC related processes, no Adult content (porn), and no hacking/spamming, much of the usual you're probably used to see'ing.
Also, the facility has 24/7 security, is right over a major bank branch on 200se First ST. in Miami Florida, on a floor with restricted access (the Data Center Floor). We have over 1 ton of HVAC cooling for every 100sqft of space, redundant power, and everything you would reasonably expect from a data center.
If you've got any questions, please ask openly, in the thread, as i'm always around to help for those who do not know me. I know there must be stuff that i've forgotten to mention, everyone does it . Also, should anyone be in Miami and interested, I would be thrilled to give them a tour, though we will be posting pictures on our page, along with mrtg graphs soon :D.
