View Full Version : 2Checkout Delayed Payment
ThePrimeHost 04-19-2002, 04:10 PM Anyone else with 2checkout.com have direct deposit come late? My funds were supposed to be deposited at the latest yesterday.
I've emailed their support be received no response.
Anyone else run into this kind of issue? Does anyone have a contact number for them?
Regards,
Darrell Buckhaults
Update** Problem resolved.
I joined 2CO on the 28th of March and receieved about 80$ worth of signups. THe check was deposited on time to my account. This second check, however was much greater and took longer to verify. Hopefully they will adjust to my growth rate. Compared to my last processor, they just plain rock!
AcuNett 04-19-2002, 04:13 PM Us too, we will wait a couple more days though, instead of bothering their support staff with questions that other people have probably asked.
The bad thign is there is no history, if there was, I could know how much exactly that they haven't transfered.

I'm told your payment is being processed with todays ACH transfer. The delay was due to verification problems on the sale(s).

You have a large "Release Level" set on your account. You will not be issued funds until your account reaches this minimum amount(which it has not). You can alter this amount in your Banking Details page.
Contact me if you need more information.
AcuNett 04-19-2002, 05:27 PM I thought that was only for international accounts? Also the funds no longer show up in my admin page since the 15th. The ones there are the sales AFTER the 15th.

xjeffx 04-20-2002, 05:24 AM I'm having a similiar problem. I paid for phpmanager today with my credit card via 2checkout. I still havn't gotten a receipt. I even thought, hey maybe I didn't finish, so I paid again, still no receipt. That was about 9 hours ago.
The thing that really worries me, is I just started my hosting company, and yesterday I had my first 3 account signups, and the receipts came through instantly. I'm wondering if I got any today and havn't received the receipts yet.
If TomD reads this, the email I used is jeff@xedgehosting.com if you want to check on it.
Thanks.
StevenG 04-21-2002, 05:20 PM Advice,
From my experience (Going off subject) do not use worldpay if you want payments to arrive on time.... we are still waiting for $$$$$1000's dated back to December 2001 - 8 remmittances sent - 4 remttances received - Not good.
They are very slow to answer any questions too.
It seems as we are the bank and not them.
Maybe we are just unlucky. :(

I have told 2checkout many times there is a problem with email notifications, but they refuse to listen, and always point to a problem on our servers.
This is my only complaint with them.
ThePrimeHost 04-22-2002, 05:36 PM It's now the 22nd and still no deposit. I'll wait another 24 hours before I go on a rant

AcuNett 04-22-2002, 08:00 PM Hello,
It appears that there was a glitch somewhere and the funds were released to
you on the 21st due to the oversight.
Thanks
Samantha

That's a great relief :). BTW, to all who wonder, 2checkout has been a great service, other than the little glitches here and there :).

No reply yet since Friday, I sent in 4 more requests, one to payments one to support, one to TomD via PM, and one via email. Hopefully one of them will get through this time :).
Hi,
I decided to take a drive to Nashville over the weekend & no one reads my tom@2checkout.com emails. Same goes for any PMs sent to me.
I'm glad that in both these situations, things have been worked out.
With regards to Payments & New(er) Accounts.
We use an Account Verification process. This means we confirm sales on new accounts for our protection. In some cases the verifications are not complete before the payment period ends (due alot to the day the sale is made).

Same here. I'm actually quite surprised when ever I DO recieve an email notification from them. My customers always seem to get them - but I don't. Strange. Its my only complaint as well. 2Checkout does a pretty decent job of everything else.
Anyways, I was paid on time this month. And there is a way to see what your payment history is. Look for the "Payments" item in their DHTML menu in the admin interface. It shows all of the payments they made to you since you opened your account. :-)
Take care,
Brian

737 miles (or 1180 KM) in 10 hours
That included a border crossing.
If only I could type as fast, my inbox would always be empty.
RE: Sales emails.
There is a combination of problems here.
Firstly, the emailer is auto.
Over the last 2 months the number of emails that have returned as "undeliverable" has increased from under 5%, to almost 20%.
Most servers are now adding in Spam filters, and most any email with Sale, Sold, !! are targeted.
We also know that our host has been listed on some sites as a spammer(AOL & Hotmail for 2 examples).
Add a 2nd "email receipt" address to your Contact Details. Make sure it is an address using a different SMTP server.
To counteract, we have been testing out a new sales email on one of the sales routines (you can check our forum for information on this). Once we have the bugs worked out, we will add it to all routines. So far, it looks very promissing.
We are also in the process of setting up an SMTP server and issuing email accounts for our Sellers.
We have just added to the Admin Panel a way for Merchants to have their Sales Report e-mailed on command. Just visit this page https://sellers.2checkout.com/cgi-bin/sellersarea/d_report.2c and select the date of the report you are looking for and it will be e-mailed to you.
