My company has lately been thinking of advertising over at FindSp.com I was hoping someone has advertised with them in the past and could give me some feed back on how many customers they did get from adverting. Thanks

We occastionally get an order from the ad that we have placed on FindSP, although not as frequently as with other hosting directories...

Nonetheless, Lonny from FindSP is a great guy, and his prices are very reasonible - so I would say go for it!

findsp is good! i have good experience with them...

I must agree that Lonny is great, however I am a little disappointed in the results. I started an add on March 31st, and have received 311 impressions and 25 clicks. It may just be the showcase that I am in though (Budget).

So far, webhostdir.com has provided the most click throughs for us, although they are more expensive.

I've spoken with Lonny before and he always gives fast email responses (or pms). I'd say he knows what he's doing!

I would suggest looking for a PPC type advertisment. I, like you, have been looking for results, but so far the hosting directories havn't looked to be the answer. At least with PPC you are guaranteed they will get to your site, and then it's up to you to convert it into a sale.

I know that hostingcatalog.com offers this type of program, but I'm not sure about other directories.

I appreciate the positive comments and your kind words about the service we're providing, less happy to hear those who weren't satisfied with the results, we are doing our best and working on some special techniques to increase the traffic, but I think that comparing to other directories our prices are quite reasonable.

I would recommend webhostdir.com, tophosts.com and hostsearch.com. They do very well for us when we run there. We had a free link on FindSP for quite a while, but did not generate one sale and not much traffic (granted, we are a very targeted service)

Rackmy.com we gave you that link when we just started the site - which was quite a while ago, so the results are quite outdated - we had excellent feedback from the dedicated showcase from our advertisers. And if I'm not mistaking you were not interested in adding youre plans to our site so the traffic is we can provide you is limited.

Tophosts and Hostsearch prices are a lot higher then FindSp. Their prices are into four digits for a Dedicated Showcase where as the others are only three figures!

We've advertised at FindSP for the last 3 months and have gotten excellent results for the money. We have stopped advertising there as of a few days ago but that's only because we want to start up again on the 1st May so everything is clear cut.

I'd advertised with Lonney when his site first started. Haven't had time to continue on with my campaigns on his site since then. I'd say Lonny's handles things pretty professional and all. So go for it!
