Now how can I save back up for files like this. 0wn4g3 11-02-2005, 11:21 AM Hmm not sure I completely undsertand the question. Do you want to backup the Typo 3 installation and all files associated with it? andren 11-02-2005, 12:56 PM Man, you installed a lot of extensions...and you don't use 'em... Easiest way to back up the site only is by exporting it as a .t3d-file. Click on th top site/root document (world symbol) and choose "export as t3d". Should work. hardjoko 11-14-2005, 12:40 AM Thanks a lot. It'll save my websites right? not just the template? hardjoko 02-27-2006, 04:18 PM Is the .t3d file back up everything? The file, the template, the articles, the page structures, etc. It seems like a small file for backing up everything. andren 02-28-2006, 12:38 PM Is the .t3d file back up everything? The file, the template, the articles, the page structures, etc. It seems like a small file for backing up everything. Test it (make a backup and restore it on another server). The main problem I see are custom installed extensions, I am pretty sure they are not backed up. hardjoko 02-28-2006, 04:44 PM I'll try then. See what happen. hardjoko 03-01-2006, 01:34 AM Hello, when I want to back up, it seems typo3 also wants to back up the pages in garbage How do I exclude garbages from being backed up? How do I empty the garbage? I cannot delete the pages. It says that I cannot delete pages with subpages. So how do I quickly delete pages with subpages then? |
