Hmm not sure I completely undsertand the question. Do you want to backup the Typo 3 installation and all files associated with it?

Man, you installed a lot of extensions...and you don't use 'em...

Easiest way to back up the site only is by exporting it as a .t3d-file. Click on th top site/root document (world symbol) and choose "export as t3d".

Should work.

Thanks a lot. It'll save my websites right? not just the template?

Is the .t3d file back up everything? The file, the template, the articles, the page structures, etc.

It seems like a small file for backing up everything.

Test it (make a backup and restore it on another server).
The main problem I see are custom installed extensions, I am pretty sure they are not backed up.

Hello, when I want to back up, it seems typo3 also wants to back up the pages in garbage

How do I exclude garbages from being backed up? How do I empty the garbage? I cannot delete the pages. It says that I cannot delete pages with subpages. So how do I quickly delete pages with subpages then?
