I restored a RaQ3 with the CD Restore. I was able to setup the ip, subnet mask, and gateway addresses without problems. However, the subnet mask and the gateway addresses will not save. I tripled checked the addresses as I entered them and even had someone looking over my shoulder to make sure that these addresses were entered correctly. They will not save. Did I miss a step or is there something else happening?

I had this same problem with moving ISP's to a new backbone, and I had to hand edit the config files. That was the only way I could get it to hold.

I even went into the "holding S" screen and told it to forget it's settings, that caused all kinds of issues (slow FTP, telnet, etc) which was only fixed by, you guessed it, telneting in and hand editing the code.
