What does MyUnmetered.com offer?
We offer the lowest price around on reliable unmetered servers.
Is your bandwidth "oversold" or "oversubscribed"?
Our packages that include "dedicated" bandwidth are guaranteed non-oversubscribed. This means that if you order 100Mbit of dedicated bandwidth, you will be able to push 100 megabits on a 24/7 basis (you will not be competing with any of our other customers for bandwidth). We also offer "shared bandwidth" packages, which include a guaranteed number of megabits as well as a port burst speed that is higher than this number. This means, for example, that with a 50Mbps shared bandwidth server (which would include 25Mbps guaranteed and 50Mbps burst room), if other shared customers are not maxing their connections, you may see speeds up to 50Mbit per second. If other shared customers are maxing their ports, you will see at least 25Mbit.
What types of materials are allowed?
While we do not allow IRC, pirated software, or "warez" hosting, we do allow legal adult content, software hosting and mirroring (open source or commercial). We kindly ask adult hosts to provide us with some documentation to prove the legality of site content. We expessly forbid any hosting of materials that are illegal in the United States and the various states in which we operate.
How can I make payment?
The pricing listed includes a cash/wire/automated bank debit (we can debit your account every month) discount. Payment is accepted using Visa, MasterCard, or American express, but the discount will not be applied, and pricing will be 5% higher than listed prices. Customers paying by credit card will need to submit proper identification to us in order to prevent fraud.
