Can anyone give any pointers on writing press releases? I've seen many posts here on WHT about where to post them, but none actually give hints or tips on how to write them. Can anyone help?

Basic answer: Write them like newspaper articles. Speaking from experience, newspaper reporters love nothing better than to cut and paste from a press release... assuming the purpose of your press release is to gain media attention, handing them a prewritten story is about as good as you can do.
