Is WHT dropping cookies, or is this just my browser? I can surf and post for days, and I can post for 10 minutes and on my 5th post I am replying to, it says I'm not registered and I have to re-fill my login information and I'm good for another few hours or days. Is this just me? Netscape Communicator 4.79.

Yes, already wondered what's going on..
This happened several times in the last few days to me.

Here I was thinking it was just me and IE.
Seems to happen, whenever it feels like happening.

I think so too (without looking into it). I post on a few VB's and all tend to toss their cookies now and then at different times.

It's really a simple upgrade to 2.2.5. It takes less than 2 minutes to upgrade, all they have to do is upload the file into admin folder of forums and run it from there.

I didn't see that "bug" mentioned in that release. Were you just suggesting that upgrarding would be simple, or that it would fix the problem?

I haven't had my cookie or the session in the cookie to disappear in months. But it has happened.

It would take longer than that, all the templates would have to be modified to match the current ones, so ads would work, and the right nav bar would be there, etc... Upgrading is always a pain... Although it would help to patch up the security hole in 2.2.4 and bellow :D

Maybe if enough of us complain about it, it will be fixed? ;)

With Netscape I suffer from this problem quite randomly.
With I.E., it seems to *never* remember me.

its not THAT simple
they'd have to re-install all hacks
they'd have to re-make the custom template

There is a hack that backs up all your hacks. If you can get it to work  I have been unable to get it to work for me.

No sooner than I say I'm not having the problem...

I lost my session today. I didn't bother to check if the cookie had been expired.
