A little bit about our network ...
Our current backbone consists of 5 Gig-E lines through Telia, Global Crossing, PCCWBTN/BTNAccess, Level3 Communications, Savvis/Cable & Wireless, as well as peering to Atlanta Internet Exchange. We utilize full redundancy using Cisco 6509 Routers with the latest SupII/MFSCII cards with 30 mm pps throughput at the core and state of the art 3540 L3 switch/routers as aggregation routers. To further maximize the redundancy of our network we utilize distributed 2924 XL EN switches to ensure that a single chassis failure will have minimal downtime effects on our servers. VLANS are used to prevent IP space hijacking and conflicts. The entire network is powered by route sciences which will calculate outbound for minimal latency, and highest possible speed back to you.

About our management policy ...
All of our servers come semi-managed by default. What this means is we will initially setup your server so that it works, and we will continue to make sure that it works. As an added bonus we will install and configure the APF Firewall, and BFD for Brute force monitoring. Apache/PHP will be setup for maximum security, by disabling certain PHP functions, and by setting up mod_security. We also take a proactive watch over new Apache/PHP security releases as well as operating system releases. We leave ourselves in charge of this, and will upgrade your server as necessary only after communicating with you to make sure that we will not interrupt important traffic periods. We're here to satisfy you, and that is what we will do.

That's correct. For only an additional $35 a month your server becomes fully managed. With our fully managed servers, we're essentially your servants. If you want something done, we'll do it for you.

Unfortunately at this time one time payment for upgrades is not available. We're working on some plans that will also us to offer it in the near future, however it's not yet available in this excellent pre-launch special.

At the present time we don't have any staff in Atlanta, though we've been looking to hire a quality candidate for quite some time. For now we're able to use GNAX techs as remote hands. Though we do have to pay a pretty hefty rate per hour, but it's worth it.

At the present time we do not have anything that would allow us to offer something in your price range. I would recommend looking at our AMD XP 3000 series server which can have the RAM upgraded to 2 GB's for an additional $80. At that price it would be a little higher than your preferred budget of $100, but please do remember that these servers are of the highest quality using only name brand parts that were self assembled by our team. On top of the high quality servers, the network quality is simply superb, as I mentioned above with 5 Gig-E lines all to providers that rank in the top tier in terms of lowest latency, packet loss, and least amount of hops required to get to each destination, which ultimately leaves as little chance of failure as possible. When you add all that to our semi-managed server guarantee you're getting quite an impeccable deal for the price.
