Bashar, i admire you for the fact that you were the smartest person many years ago to register many short and premium .com names and thus I value your opinion so i would like to ask you what your thoughts are on some of the ccTLD's

I have been reading on domain forums that many people are very hot on the .tv extension at the moment and i was wondering what you thought of this ccTLD and if you have registered any of these names? I have dropped a few hundred $$$ on what are some very nice names I also have them listed on greatdomains i know this does not mean anything other than some free advsertising and a linkback but what are your thoughts?

I only wish I was your drinking buddy back in the days that you were regging all the 2 and 3 letter .coms...LOL

I would be very interested to read your perspective of the domain industry and your thoughts on what you believe is the next .com

in short words there is no next .com :D

but there is few ccTLD doing good recently such as .tv .us and seems .in is booming too

if you really want to invest wait for .eu it seems promising :)

believe it or not i was late in reg'ing the names you have in mind and most of them was purchased not reg'ed :S

btw i don't drink :P its against islam, but you could be my Pool buddy since i used to play back then ;)

Have either of you considered setting up a biz in the UK just to get in on the sunrise? [I'm not.]

why the UK? can't you pre-register them using any registrar that offers them?

Meant to say Europe, I keep subconciously thinking UK = Europe.

What I meant was that AFAIK, if you have a registered company in EU, you have a better chance at getting the domain during the sunrise.

You're from US, aren't you???

As far as I understand, in order to register .eu you'll have to have an EU registered company or to be citizen of any of 25 EU countries. So "better chance" isn't correct term. "Only chance" seem more useful here. Especcially during the sunrise.
