Hello,

Am looking for a reseller host with the ability to create Sub-Reseller Accounts under my reseller account. I searched and searched both Google & WHT but I guess this kind of thing is bit difficult to find. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance :lovewht:

Try the host quote feature and you might find something of this sort :)

You can also try searching on www.hostsearch.com or www.findmyhosting.com

Best of luck!

Don't even talk about it..all you get is spam emails and some host even doesn't care to read what I request and send me shard hosting plans.

You can also try searching on www.hostsearch.com or www.findmyhosting.com

Thanks but non of these are sufficient enough to find a bit unique request like this one :S

Moved to Reseller Hosting Forum. (The "edit" was to subscribe you to this thread so that you'll be able to find it after it's moved.)

I know some programs can allow you to create sub-reseller under your reseller account, working in WHM, however, seems not very stable. I would suggest you looking for a host allows you to re-sell their reseller packages instead.

I thought this can be directly enabled for WHM or is it only Amin users are allowed to create reseller accounts? Can you please explain further or is this such a difficult thing to do and why is any one not offering this?

Skelaniya,

WHM doesn't have any sort of setting that allows this to be done...hosts who offer this feature are using a 3rd party add-on that allows this. It's not a good idea to rely on a third-party for such an important feature. I'd suggest making a deal with a host to resell their reseller plans.

Here's what should be a nice (though rather long) read on why a subresellers system can go wrong: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=269114&highlight=subresellers

IMO hfohrman above is right: if it is absolutely necessary for you sell reseller accounts, get a VPS.

Thanks for all your replies and PM's.

I guess more I learn more I get confused. Firstly I thought it is possible to create reseller accounts with WHM (if the admin allows it), now according to what I see here its not possible to create reseller accounts with WHM? Suppose if I get a VPS how do I going to create reseller accounts? what software will be used?

You can create reseller accounts in WHM with root access by default, you just can't create them on a reseller level by default. That's where the third party addon comes in..

With a VPS, you have root access to WHM, so you CAN create resellers WITHOUT the third party addon.

It's just like having a dedicated server.

Only you are using WHM, with the inclusion of Virtuozzo

Resellers Panel (http://www.resellerspanel.com)'s program approaches this in a unique way. They have their regular reseller program, and then any reseller that signs up through your affiliate link is added to your affiliate list. You make ten percent of the wholesale price of each hosting plan they sell.

Hello you wont be able to create reseller plans under a standard whm , only root can do this.
