Do not install this update if you compiled PHP from source !!

The php version included in the package is way behind and will probably downgrade your installed php version back to 4.0.6 which has been replaced by php because of several security flaws....................

this is a security update to the php scripting engine.

not to php as a whole.

BUT i would imagine if you compiled from source, this would mess with something in your compilation....

then again. i'd imagine any PKG from cobalt will mess you up no matter what.

ditto what haze said.

so. along those lines, should i go with ensim or plesk? i need as close to cobalt as possible. at least for 2 or so months.

i've done the demos and think ensim seems to be the way to go. at least for now.

I went with a Ensim box, but I have not put it into production yet. I wonder if I made a mistake, Ensim seems slow on updates as well.
