They would also have to write the cheque to an person not a company, (having difficulty opening a company account:rolleyes: ) smacx 04-18-2002, 07:12 PM Try Soltrus, they are the Canadian Verisign, run by CIBC im probably going to be using their payment gateway in the future, it's pretty good apparently.... http://www.soltrus.com/ aleavens 04-18-2002, 07:57 PM but that is not what I was looking for, I need a 3rd part ala 2checkout, revecom etc..... 2checkout does not allow Canadian $ and revecom you need a business account, and my bank will not allow me one smacx 04-18-2002, 11:39 PM What do you mean exactily? check this out: http://www.soltrus.com/english/solutions/payflow_pricing.html pay flow link is just like 2checkout or whatever, they host a page on their secure server and process all the charges. Its all the same. LinuXpert 04-19-2002, 12:36 AM I saw on HostCharge website that they accept multi-currency. Check them. I can't tell you because I don't use them. HTH. xpp1223 04-19-2002, 03:59 AM Originally posted by aleavens ...and revecom you need a business account, and my bank will not allow me one Not true. I have a revecom account in Can $$ and the deposits are made to my normal personal account. aleavens 04-19-2002, 07:24 AM Originally posted by xpp1223 Not true. I have a revecom account in Can $$ and the deposits are made to my normal personal account. from the revecom FAQ #18 What type of bank account is required? The only requirement is that it is a business account, not a personal account. For set-up we will require a copy of a void cheque with your business name imprinted. If not available with imprinted business name, we require an IS Funds Transfer form filled out by your bank. so if you are getting the deposits to your personal account I'd like to know how. aleavens 04-19-2002, 07:28 AM Originally posted by smacx What do you mean exactily? check this out: http://www.soltrus.com/english/solutions/payflow_pricing.html pay flow link is just like 2checkout or whatever, they host a page on their secure server and process all the charges. They are nothing more than a Verisign reseller. xpp1223 04-19-2002, 12:56 PM Originally posted by aleavens ... so if you are getting the deposits to your personal account I'd like to know how. Easy, I went into the "Account Management" section of the control panel and entered in my personal checking account info. No problem. Their faq also says that the customer credit card statement will show "Paysystems.com via YOUR COMPANY NAME".. which hasn't been true for over a year. In other words, I don't beleive their website is accurate. Send them an email, or sign up for an account (you'll get a test account), and then submit a support request and ask. blacknight 04-19-2002, 02:51 PM Hostcharge is probably the best solution for you, as they allow non-incorporated companies etc., etc. Have a look at their site xpp1223 04-19-2002, 10:30 PM Originally posted by blacknight Hostcharge is probably the best solution for you, as they allow non-incorporated companies etc., etc. Have a look at their site Neither 2checkout or revecom require you to be incorporated. |
