I am just wondering if anyone has any experience using MyCorporation.com and if so has anyone formed an International LLC with them. This is what I believe we are going to do but I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them or ideas.

Used for C-Corp, not for LLC, but for general experience, it was good...

Why an International LLC? Be aware that if you don't live in Deleware, you'll probably have to pay your state, assuming you live in the U.S., a fee for being a "foreign" corporation doing business in the state. In Texas, that's $700. Plus, MyCorporation is going to charge you $120 a year to renew your "International LLC".

By "foreign" above, it simply means a corporation registered in another state with offices in another.

Okay, I see you live north of the border, but why would you do this? It looks expensive. You first have to register as a corporation "domestically'.

If you're registered in Delaware doesn't that mean they can drag your ass to court in Delaware? Why not just make the plaintiff file in their local court or yours?

Okay, I see: taxes.

to be treated as an international LLC; this gives the members complete exemption from Manx tax on the company's income. International status also removes the company from any reporting obligations and from withholding tax on distributions

But still, if you don't have a physical presence, couldn't you just register in your home country?

Way, way to expensive to register in Canada. About $3000 to get fully incorporated. Plus in terms of taxes, Canada is brutal. They take roughly 60% of your revenue

But if I the information I read implies what I think it does, to register as an International LLC you first have to register as a corporation "domestically". If that's correct, it seems you would still have to pay the $3000.
