how did you get your forum to start off? since sunday night here are my stats

i have advertised on a few forums and told my friends, what else? im only going to advertise once per forum... spamming is not the way to get your forum up and going

I find that 'referrers' and GOOD 'topsites' work best...

That's how my website got started up. And I think if your friends have a website, they can make a news post saying, hey if you like (topic), visit this bulletin board.

something like that, if you don't like link givings, then get affiliates. that's link exchanging, then you dont feel bad at all. :D :cartman: :cartman:
