This may sound like a stupid question to all you experts but that's why I'm asking...you guys (or gals) will know the answer!

Here's my situation/question...I've set up a new account in WHM and given it a username and password to get into Cpanel and all that good stuff...no problems there. But, I need to give the designer of the site a seperate/different username and password to access the site via FrontPage.

How/where can I set up a different user account allowing the web designer to access the site via FrontPage without giving him the username and password that can access the CPanel for that site? I've looked all over but I can't seem to find where/how to do that. Please help!!

TIA

Hi,
I have been using cpane on our servers for the last two or three years...

You Can't.

However,,, you don't have to tell them how to get to the control panel.

WHM/Cpanel set up gives the same password to front page as FTP and all other site access. In order to have the site set up properly, let the designer in with front page, then change the password for safety once they are done.

Also... this post should really be in the other forum,, about control panels and such... the mods wil most likely move it for you.

Have a nice evening,
