I regret I switched my domains to Registerfly. There support is terrible. I have had several registrars but the good ones are hidden somewere. This is what I need :

Support within a few hours.
.com domains under $10.-
Option of using there nameserver without hosting.

My "once but never again" list is :
Aitdomains.com
Godaddy.com
Registerfly.com

The others I can't remember because these were several years ago.

Any decent ones out there?

me too, namecheap, stargate suck. Godaddy is ok but not great

I tried namecheap also. I don't know if it is because I don't live in the US, but I cannot create an acount online. I have to send them an email and they will create an acount for me. Reason for not starting with them.

Unfortunately, that tidbit can make a difference in getting a good
or bad experience with a registrar. I've been lucky so far except
for a "slight" problem I had with Go Daddy over 2 years ago.

Anyway, try Domainsite.com. There are times they don't reply fast
enough, but at least they do.

Where are you based, anyway? I won't be surprised if you have
been having various problems if you're in a "country watch list".

Godaddy is avergae but better

Enom is pretty good IMO, but their support is not that fast...

its kinda hard to find few hrs support with the BIG guys, maybe trying smaller ones

I always get prompt and fast response from Registerfly. I agree I dont get answers within an hour as stated on their help page but still its not bad.

I have faced some issues with billing and it was fixed with the help of RegFly on WHT only.
