One of my clients is no longer receiving emails forwarded from her domain beverevivis.com hosted at Speedy Web. No email replies from Speedy Web to our emergency help messages. When calling their help telephone number, we are taken to an answering service mail box which is already so full it cannot accept any more messages.

Is there something going wrong with Speedy Web? Their ftp server was acting up a couple of days ago. Does anyone have any good or bad experince with them?

Many thanks for any advice or help.

Trident (parent or alter ego to SpeedyWeb) recently moved their accounts to new hardware. In the process the managed to forget to include the GD library in their php engine compile, used copies of their users sites that were over a week old, and screwed up the email for their users.

Personally I'm just looking to fix my site long enough to move everything off of it. My business has been disrupted, their lack of response to request for service has been nil and they've generally proven that contrary to popular opinion you cannot train monkeys to sysadmin.

Supposedly this transition to the new hardware was supposed to be seamless. So far it looks like the San Andreas fault line.

EDITED To add the following:

I forgot to mention that I got through on the phone to them one time. The person at the other end seemed accomodating enough and asked that I send an email from the account to verify the request (since it involved deleting a directory that ended up in my directory some how that I didn't have permission to delete). Seeming like a reasonable enough request I sent the email. I received NOTHING in response (then again who knows maybe thats just abotu the time that my email stopped working). Whether or not they responded is irrelevant since the change was never made. So far my attempts to contact them again via phone have been futile. I'll continue to war dial them until I get a live perosn willing to take responsibility long enough to fix my account. Till then I plan on costing them $0.10/call (rough guess on 800 call pricing, possibly even more) on their 800 number. So far I'm up to about $7.
