What is your opinion of this domain name? I am currently using it but I have had a few people tell me they won't use my hosting just because of the name which is not good :)

I use www.batcavepro.com which is an upgrade to www.batcave.net


I also own quite a few more domains- but what is your opinion on this domain name? is it a good one or should I keep looking..

There is nothing wrong with that name. :)

You could specialize for people who love:

Batman & Robin
Bats
Base ball Bat
Bat. which means Battalion
BAT which means Bachelor of Arts in Teaching
Bath Room
Batter (instead of Butter) Cookies

Or for people who love the old movie by Clint Eastwood:
The Good, the Bat (instead of BAD) and the Ugly.

batcave.net is a far better domain than its 'pro' counterpart imo ;) Not sure if they're appropriate for this type of business, but then again why not ..

I can give you 2 very good points to think about.

1. Most Important!! The name you choose will determine where you end up being placed in search engine rankings - TO A GREAT EXTENT.

2. Think to yourself - does the name of my site simply, and effectively, tell people what I do?

I've seen your name here on WHT, and while I don't know your true age, quite frankly, the name BatCave.net made me think that you were either a ten year old Batman fanatic or Adam West venturing into the hosting business.

The name AxisHost.com is much better and I believe that it will not only make a big difference in how your customers view you, but also in your bottom line.
