I am curious as to which would be the best to take when going on vacation so that I could still have access to the internet for answering support questoins and such.
A Palm/PDA or a Laptop? Any feedback is appreciated :D

I'd say a laptop, if you'll be doing it from the motel room.
A Palm if you'll be doing it while you're out.

here's my thought.....if you're going on vacation why would you need a laptop to answer "support questoins and such" when you can answer "support questoins and such" from the comfort of your own home......
in other words, ditch the PDA, ditch the laptop, and get a cell phone to call your hired temp staff every now and then (3 times a day at most)....

i take my palm 3c my ibm a 21m and my nokia and spare batteries all round. but then again i also work down the garden, in the woods, on the moors or on the beach when the mood takes me so i prefer to be setup to be mobile by default.
best thing to remember is take a backup method, i.e. i can get all the details i need off the palm if the ibm goes belly (like thats gonna happen it makes volvos look flimsy). remember to take a spare route, a copy of all info, and plenty of batteries \ chargers and converters if required.

Well one thing is this. Which would be cheaper, laptop or pda? ( Laptop and PDA internet charges when using them. )
Secondly It is really hard finding "good help" that you can "trust". I am not a risk taker when it comes to customer support and business reputation. :(
But I guess thats a good thing..
I like to work, it gives me a rush :stickout But if I wasn't actually doing something on vacation (in the sense of support and whatnot) my mind would be there.

Vacation wouldn't be vacation if you were doing work - I suggest hiring someone to help during the vacation :)
