Does anyone know if Godaddy.com allow you to change the IPS TAG on .uk domains?

I want to register a .uk domain with them so I can use up the spare cash in my PayPal account as my Usual register don't accept PayPal as a method of payment.

Also do Godaddy charge for IPS TAG changing?

I think the only way to find is to ask them. I've found nothing on their web site. In fact I found nothing at all indicating that .uk domains are being registered under Nominet's Terms and Conditions... GoDaddy's blurb is all about how they are an ICANN registrar and how everything they do is done under ICANN rules, which of course doesn't apply when you are registering ccTLD domains.

I suggest the best thing to do would be to start the registration process (but obviously don't go past a point where you are committed) and see if, at any time during the process, they give you information on how they handle .uk registrations and transfers and if indeed they tell you (as they are REQUIRED to do!) that you are bound by Nominet's Terms & Conditions.

Personally I would never considering registering a .uk through a non-UK company.

Yep, I could not find anything on their site too. I've submitted a ticket asking them.

Anyway, it don't really matter now as its $19.95 per 2 years as I went through the signup process, not $9.98 as stated on the front page.

Cheaper to withdraw the money from my PayPal account to my bank and buy a .uk from my usual register (123-reg).

Wise move, I would only go with a local provider for CCTLD
