i am using dreamweaver 3 .......the problem is i lost the properties bar it just doesnt show....it disappeared totally......i checked and unchecked windows properties still nothing. i just cant see it...........helppp????

Try pressing CTRL-F3 a few times and see what happens. If it still don't show, could it be because you've dragged it out of the screen? Make sure you look all around the corners of the screen while pressing CTRL-F3 to see if you notice anything.. If that doesn't work, reinstall DreamWeaver.

If you have it stored in the same folder as Dreamweaver then yes I probably will. You best bet would be to move the site to a folder of it's own (or under My Documents). I have a folder with over 260 meg, 587 folders, and 10812 files in it from various websites. Naturally, it gets backed up onto zip disk, as well as being burnt to CD once a month :)

One thing worth trying before you reinstall. Can you bump up your resolution to a hgiher level? That might give you just enough new screen real estate for the tool bar to reappear long enough to drag it back to the middle of the screen.
