Hello all,
I am looking for a shopping cart/store for a client. They want to be able to have their products up, managed, and buyable through one app. They would also like the app to serve as their website. They would like to be able to use PayPal and 2CO. I reccomended OSCommerce, but are there any other good ones out there?
Thanks,

Priyanka

Other than OScommerce, I have heard that Agora cart is a good one.

ABC eStore uses both PayPal and 2CO, tech stuff is OK, trials and demo versions are at its website... and if you have pricelists in excel you can save a lot of time as there's a feature of creating store inventory from Excel files.

Are you specifically looking for free ones? OS Com is about the best free one.

I would like a free one, but I would also like a secure one. OS Commerce has been my favorite so far, but I think there was one that used Zend Optimizer and was free that was worth looking into. Anybody know about that?
Thanks,

we use zen cart with zend optimizer and it works great. i am pretty sure zend works with any php mysql cart, don't quote me, but we noticed a difference in speed with it !

I always recommend osCommerce, we've been working with it for over 3 years and is a great shopping cart, very customizable you will find a lot of free modules and supported but a lot of people.

If you don't need alot of features, cubecart can't be beat for ease of use and functionality all the way around. If you sign up on their site, it is free if you leave the copyright on the footer.

If you need more, Zen Cart has it built in.

Ok, thanks. It is now between Zen Cart osCommerce. I'll be testing both out and seeing how I like them :)

You are wasting your time testing osCommerce since Zen is everything it is + more security + light years ahead of it.
