Im looking for a way to make the paint splats like the new ipod commercial (already tried google) - anyone know a good place to learn that?

Several methods come to mind - Manually with the paintbrush, or, draw it out and fill it in - These two methods will take a good eye for precision design.

Or a third, this one is my favourite by far - Get off the computer and down to your local DIY, buy some paint, a paint brush and a canvas (preferably one you can scan once the paint has dried), and have some fun. Personally this is the way I would do it, it's a lot more practical and beats sitting on the computer for hours trying to achieve something I'm unsure how to go about - After scanning you can clean up edges etc. With the software tools ;) Have fun!
