I received a person today that signed up and it shows paypal in WHM Auto. Yet I have checked my paypal account and have received zero money. And the account was never made as well in the server. What would cause this to happen? It being created, but not showing up in my account and it never being made in the server. Thanks in advance

Just to add to this, there was no ip traced nor local isp. Ths seems weird. I have done a whois on his domain and the nameservers before it were:

nameserver: ns1.freewebs.com
nameserver: ns2.freewebs.com

call or email the client informing them of the mishap as well as linking them to a new signup page.

I have emailed this person and told them of this problem. Should I delete the account so that person can use the same information again and not get an error that there was already a user with that name?

I am going to leave the account open, I have changed his account from paid to upaid and recent the invoice that tells him to pay. Had to do a little research with whm to figure this out. I apologize for the post, first time this has ever happened

Had the same situation ourselves recently. New Client from the UK and, although they had a PayPal account, were not using a CC or debit card for payment. Forget what they called the Card they trying to use, but they finally paid using a CC and no problems.

Interesting. Yeah I also called him (love vonage for this kind of stuff, cheap) and left him a message about the issue. I will have to ask him what he used, maybe there is an issue with that card and U.S. Paypals?

Guy was looking for an account to be autocreated for use of spam...that's my guess

Not sure but in the whois the address he put into his account was the same as whois had. The phone number went to a voice mail at someones home. It should be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Check the IP location, make sure it matches, and check the area code. If a free e-mail was used, be a little higher warned...

I had this same issue before. I emailed him and didn't get his reply so I removed his account.

Thats the thing, no ip showed like other accounts, and no isp host. Could this be a proxy? But even if it is a proxy a ip should show. The email used was not a free one and as I said the whois for the domain matched what he signed up with. Also the phone number a UK based number was called by me and left a message. Should be interesting to say the least. First for me :)

If I do not receive an email or a call back by tomorrow afternoon which is plenty of time for this person to respond, the account will be closed.

well I called the person again this morning, mind you this is a call to the UK and a person picked up, I said who I was, and then I heard a click on the other line. Then I thought well maybe it was my Vonage that did it, so I called back. This time no answer and no answering machine. Soooo I guess I will be suspending the account.
