Maybe something like: Company Name Your website at the speed of light I am sure there are lots of possibilities, a good concept though. The Stealthy One 10-18-2005, 07:15 PM bkendall, I like that re-wording! LLightWhost, if I were you, I'd go for the re-worded slogan! It's catchy, and signifies that you've got speedy servers! :) Daniel B 10-18-2005, 08:25 PM i like it too...sounds much better than my original...thanks bkendall still open for more ideas of course though BTW...LLightWHost stands for Laserlight Web Hosting webhostingwiz 10-18-2005, 09:01 PM - serving your website to the speed of light - quciker then the speed of light - hosting at the speed of light - serving at the speed of light - web hosting at light speed UDS 10-19-2005, 12:52 AM i would say these Company Name Lightning Quick!! Company Name Lightning Fast!! Jamie Harrop 10-19-2005, 04:46 AM I know this is going to bring you down a level or two, LLightWhost, but I'm sure you much prefer to know a persons true thoughts. To be honest, I don't like any, I suppose I don't like the concept. To me, they all same very 'standard', like it just came out of a 'How to start a Web hosting" business box. I would even go as far as saying the slogan is a little 'cheesy', so to speak. I wouldn't go throwing huge amounts of time in to coming up with a slogan. It isn't the slogan you should be marketing, it is your company name that needs to be put in front of everybody. The best start to marketing your company name, in my opinion, is to not have a slogan. It's one less thing for people to look at, one less thing for people to remember, and all focus goes on your company name, rather than the line underneath it. Daniel B 10-19-2005, 06:24 AM noep equentity - Jamie...didn't bring me down at all...i asked for opinions and i love getting them...i never actually thought about it that way till know...i understand your views...guess i'll just finish my site and see where the winds blows the logo... Aussie Bob 10-19-2005, 08:15 AM They're also untrue statements. I didn't think data was able to be transmitted faster or equal to the speed of light. :uhh: etechsupport2 10-19-2005, 12:55 PM I think Aussie Bob is right. I guess the customers may start expecting your service and support should be faster or atleast equal to the speed of light then. ;) Lextuyr 10-20-2005, 01:51 AM Originally posted by etechsupport2 I think Aussie Bob is right. Daniel B 10-21-2005, 10:50 PM whatcha guys think of this... “At Laserlight Web Hosting we focus on you and strive to make sure our service shines the brightest.” i've been sitting here staring at it for about 15 minutes trying to get a finger on what is wrong with it. I like it...but there is just something i feel needs to be changed a little...maybe someone elses point of view is what i need for a little 'inspiration' The Stealthy One 10-21-2005, 10:56 PM How about this? “At Laserlight Web Hosting we focus on you and strive to make sure your website shines the brightest.” What think? Daniel B 10-21-2005, 11:13 PM i like that...but it kind of implies that we do website work...which we don't...right now we are just hosting...which is why don't want to use 'website' NOCSmart 10-22-2005, 12:28 AM The Slogan sounds very catchy. Make sure you have a good branded logo to go with that catchy slogan. I have noticed that companies get popular by a very good branded logo. So keep that in mind :) BF-Gary 10-22-2005, 02:35 AM Here is another one: a beacon of light in a confusing world Revo.In 10-22-2005, 04:16 AM Great slogans there. There is a Harry Potter site, I think Accio-Firebolt, which has a similar slogan. But I like that. What about this - Quality Web Solutions at the Speed of Light Jamie Harrop 10-22-2005, 05:39 AM whatcha guys think of this... “At Laserlight Web Hosting we focus on you and strive to make sure our service shines the brightest.” To be honest, LLightWhost, that is way too long to act as a slogan. Can you honestly see that been put underneith your company name on your logo? :) Here is another one: a beacon of light in a confusing world I quite like that. It's short, it's simple, it implies you cut out all the rubbish, and go straight to the point. Remember, whatever slogan you use (if any), it needs to be true. If you don't make things any more simple than any other hosting company, then don't use the above slogan. If you do, then great, it may be perfect.
