bringing your website to the speed of light


does this sound good?...or lame?

I am feeling the concept but maybe think about rewording it a little.

Maybe something like:

Company Name
Your website at the speed of light

I am sure there are lots of possibilities, a good concept though.

I like that re-wording! LLightWhost, if I were you, I'd go for the re-worded slogan! It's catchy, and signifies that you've got speedy servers! :)

I know this is going to bring you down a level or two, LLightWhost, but I'm sure you much prefer to know a persons true thoughts. To be honest, I don't like any, I suppose I don't like the concept. To me, they all same very 'standard', like it just came out of a 'How to start a Web hosting" business box. I would even go as far as saying the slogan is a little 'cheesy', so to speak.

I wouldn't go throwing huge amounts of time in to coming up with a slogan. It isn't the slogan you should be marketing, it is your company name that needs to be put in front of everybody. The best start to marketing your company name, in my opinion, is to not have a slogan. It's one less thing for people to look at, one less thing for people to remember, and all focus goes on your company name, rather than the line underneath it.

noep equentity - Jamie...didn't bring me down at all...i asked for opinions and i love getting them...i never actually thought about it that way till know...i understand your views...guess i'll just finish my site and see where the winds blows the logo...

They're also untrue statements. I didn't think data was able to be transmitted faster or equal to the speed of light. :uhh:

I think Aussie Bob is right. I guess the customers may start expecting your service and support should be faster or atleast equal to the speed of light then. ;)

Try to google it. And find the slogan generator. After just type your text (intended slogan) and generator produce list of slogans, some so funny :-) (http://thesurrealist.co.uk/slogan)

i've been sitting here staring at it for about 15 minutes trying to get a finger on what is wrong with it. I like it...but there is just something i feel needs to be changed a little...maybe someone elses point of view is what i need for a little 'inspiration'

How about this?

i like that...but it kind of implies that we do website work...which we don't...right now we are just hosting...which is why don't want to use 'website'

The Slogan sounds very catchy. Make sure you have a good branded logo to go with that catchy slogan. I have noticed that companies get popular by a very good branded logo. So keep that in mind :)

Great slogans there. There is a Harry Potter site, I think Accio-Firebolt, which has a similar slogan.

But I like that. What about this -

To be honest, LLightWhost, that is way too long to act as a slogan. Can you honestly see that been put underneith your company name on your logo? :)

If you don't make things any more simple than any other hosting company, then don't use the above slogan. If you do, then great, it may be perfect.

sorry guys...i guess i didn't explain well enough...

i already have my slogan for my logo...the long phrase i asked about above is what i am planning on putting on the front of my business cards...(sorta like a self quote sorta thing...)
