Im setting up my reseller account... and im applying the nameservers to my company domain....
however... when i use ns3.mydomain.org ns4.mydomain.org
i get an error. I cant do that.. but if i change the .org to .com or any othe extension it works.
im using registerfly.
so my domain is mydomain.org and the nameservers i created in h-sphere is ns*.mydomain.org....
also i would like to add registerfly sucks... they have 24/7 phone support but they dont even reply to their emails...

Did you register these nameservers? You need to make sure the nameservers are valid before you use them or else you will get errors

You still need to register the nameservers at your registrar otherwise if you try to use the nameservers that do not exist you will get errors.

you would create ns1.yourdomain and map it to the IP address of your server

Just creating the DNS entries does *not* register the nameservers. You need to register your DNS with each registry of the TLD that you want to use the DNS on. Most registrars will have something in their UI called 'register nameserver' that does this for you.

Most registrars registrar the nameservers within the respective namespaces
