If you need a resume I can send it as well. andreyka 10-18-2005, 08:25 AM Hi, I can do it. http://esupport.org.ua rocero 10-18-2005, 08:55 AM to start with my server spec: - AMD sempron 2400+ - 1024 MB ddr memory - 2x 80 GB HD - Fedora core / freeBSD / suse of debian - Direct admin licentie - 4 IP adressen - 100 Mbit uplink - 250 GB dataverkeer - reverse DNS but when im using ssh to looking on the hd files its strange hd1. is just partly use and partly not even partitioning ( so 2 partitioning, 1where the os installed, 1just empty) hd2. same as hd1( 2 partitioning, 1where the directadmin stores, 1 just empty) what i want was suppost 2hd hd1. os and directadmin store hd2. backup store. another problem also. it looks like its not running at maximum speed (maybe just ehm kernel not patch yet, maybe need zend optimiser and it block outgoing connect, firewall, antivirus, etc) it just need to be optimize at performance. and i would like to know about dns backup(when server down it still catch the email and automaticly email transfer to the old server when its up again) so what van u do for me? price? and tell me how and what u could do Steven 10-18-2005, 09:51 AM and i would like to know about dns backup(when server down it still catch the email and automaticly email transfer to the old server when its up again) You would want to get a vps and setup a dns server there and sendmail and run a secondary MX for that to work. What are those partitions? I'm just a little confused you have the /, /tmp,swap,/var,/usr installed correct? Or do you just have two partitions installed on HD? It seems like your setup may have been done improperly possibly from what I'm understanding. To maximize performance you would want to run zend optimizer you can install it easily yourself via a DA (visit their forums do a zend optimizer install search) and there is an easy command line for it. There are other ways to improve performance as well. What anti-virus do you have installed? What firewall are you using (IPFW)? Does the firewall have stateful rulesets? Who setup the server for you and who added the server itself? If you need help I will gladly help you out and even document the everything that I can do for you. Price: You choose the budget and we can discuss what can be done. Just PM me and we can discuss it further. rocero 10-20-2005, 08:47 AM i already found someone.. thanks for the reply guys |
