Lee,
Your domains are not a "free" transfer as indicated.
You can push to a new account or tagholder but to legally change the ownership it must be done directly with Nominet at a cost of £35 each unless 3 or more are done at the same time ( same details)

I can change all registered details by logging into Nominet's Registrants Online system with the code they send in the post when you register a domain.

Sorry but no you can't change the registrant, all other details you can change, the registrant can only be changed directly at Nominet at a cost of £35 each.
See http://www.nominet.org.uk/MakingChangesToYourDomainName/Transfer/
If the domain is not transferred in this manner then the name legally remains yours

With respect Lee I have been a Nominet member for nearly 10 years, what you describe you cannot do. The system of paper certificates stopped in 2003 prior to this a change of registrant could be done free of charge by sending off letters of authority along with the certificate.
Now you need to obtain a transfer form for the domain in question from Nominet, have this signed by the new owner as well as yourself and pay the £35 fee.
Many mistake the idea of changing tagholders as "transferring" but this does not change the legal owner of the domain.
However under no circumstances can anyone change the registrant via the Nominet registrants panel - if you don't believe me try it and see.
I did not post this out of malice I just saw you could be getting into trouble offering free transfers on something that costs £35

No problem, I am interested in what you had to say. However, I have changed everything that appears on the domain whois and the registrant bit, so how is this?

What domain?
All domains listed above show Lee as the registrant with the exception of rower which is registered to someone else (Stephen Robinson who is the legal owner of this one)

I have not changed the details on these domains but I have on other .uk's. For example: leecult.co.uk used to have the registrant down as 'LeeCult.com' but I was having a tidy up one day and decided to change the registrant name to my name as all my other .uk domains. All I did was login to registrant's online and changed it, while I was there I had the option to change all addresses too.

What you have done is made a correction to the name which Nominet have accepted, this is not a transfer
If you look at the registrants FAQ on the site when you log in you will find this :
What happens if I request a change to the registrant's name?
If you have requested a change to the registrant's name, you will be informed that your request is being investigated and verified by Nominet staff. You may be contacted in the process.
All other changes will be updated automatically without further checks. If you want to change the registrant name to a different person or legal entity then you will need to request a registrant transfer. There is a separate process for dealing with registrant transfers that involves the payment of a fee.
