http://www.hostroute.com/resellers/

In setting up our new reseller scheme we sat down and thought about what we would have liked when we were resellers.

Here's what we came up with:

No expensive reseller plan, just $10 per month.
No requirement to host your site with us.
No need to pay for personalised nameservers - we provide ones that can't be traced back to us.
Fast technical support - no hanging around for days.
Unbranded support manual you can use as part of your web site.
Free MS Access customer management database.
Password protected resellers area with support forum.
Resold plans from $5.95 per month.

All plans are hosted on dedicated servers located at VDI inc and managed by Ultraspeed USA with the latest version of Cpanel3.

See our web site for further details.

Our reseller plan now comes with plans from $2.95 monthly, allowing you to compete with many of the budget hosts without having your own server.

Did I ever mention that 'scheme' might not be the appropriate word?

Just so you know, two dictionaries I looked at list scheme as:

1st definition:
a devious plan; plot

2nd definition:
a plan or program for gaining a specific goal.

I think 'program' or 'plan' is more what you are looking for (and if so, I'll gladly edit the thread title for you).

Oops.

Its a Scottish-ism.
We have a few of these.

Here's another one:

"I stay in Edinburgh" means "I live in Edinburgh"
In England "stay" means staying like in a hotel.

We also use "which" instead of "that" which really annoys the grammar check in MS Word.

Believe it or not we also call housing estates "housing schemes".

You could accuse each of the administration team of maintaining the boards for a living :D

Nah, we're all just addicted to these forums. Just ask the other regulars ;)

Stupid answer - but he might just host his server there.

Well thats an interesting story .......

When I was a reseller I resold for two hosts at Alabanza.
To maintain my old name servers I still pay for the old reseller plan so the two web sites are still there.

I am phasing out the old name servers and moving everything over gradually.

Hello... my name is Chicken and I am a board-o-holic. Just two posts by this new member and he's already noticed that I need to get out more. Sad. Very sad.

I promise to reply less. *says with crossed fingers just in case*

P.S. Am I doing it again? You know, you're not helping! :)
