I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but... With regards to bandwidth, how is it measured (I have heard burstable, 95th percentile and others) and how do you know if you get enough? I don't want to end up getting a big bill at the end of the month for excess bandwidth usage. Any help would be appreciated. Or some information on where to find it?

Thank you,
Mark

With 95th percentile here's how your bandwidth will be calculated:
1. They will take samples of your outgoing and incoming bandwidth every 5 minutes.
2. At the end of the month, the top 5% of the samples will be thrown away
3. It leaves you with the rest 95%.
4. You will be charged based on the highest usage of that 95% (either incoming or outgoing bandwidth).

The disadvantage of this method is that if you are using 94% of your bandwidth at 100kbps and have a peak of 2Mbps that is more than 5% of the total bandwidth, you will have to pay 2Mbps rate, which is higher. But if your usage is constant, then this method will be just fine for you.
